And We are Back (unboxing of the Morat Starter)

Estuve un poco colgado, tengo dos posts que casi están pero me cuelgo a trabajarlos y bueno. Decidí que tenía que poner un unboxing del starter morat que lo había hecho pero mi jermu me borró los videos para hacer espacio en la cámara. Los Morats estos los compré en Mirmidonia el año pasado y como introducir material importado en el país esta como poco complicado (35% de recargo en el dolar, 50% de tasa de importación, retardos increibles hasta que llega el producto). Decidí mandarlo a lo de mi prima afuera. Se dieron una serie de coincidencias y llegó a mi alrededor de junio junto con dos minis mas (la Zerat con multi sniper y el Maligno "cool hacker").

Así que volví hoy del asado de Wargamez, con calor, y mientras escucho Quilmes Racing (gracias Saja), armé un pequeño unboxing en video. El otro era mejor, pero no sé donde está, si tengo otra copia, no la encuentro y la que estaba en la cámara, parece que voló voló...

So, I was a bit hung up, I have two posts that are almost finished but I keep working on them. I decided I had to post a unboxing of morat starter I had done long time ago, but I have found that this videos were deleted by my wife to make room on the camera. This miniatures were bought to Mirmidonia last year and send to London because importing here miniatures is really hard nowadays.

So today when I went back from the Wargamez meeting, with heat, and while I listen Quilmes Racing (thanks Saja), I have filmed a little video of the unboxing. The other was better, but do not know where it is, if I have another copy, and can not find it in the camera, it seems that it flew away...

Entonces más allá de los videos que son una forma rápida de ver las minis, hay varias cosas que comentar:

• Morat Vanguardias, la verdad están bonitos pero no me gusta el pintado nuevo. Me gustán colorinches y los voy a pintar así.
• Ratorak: está bien, la mini cuando la tenga armada la voy a usar bastante ya sea para proxiar, ya sea para usarla con enlaces de suryats...
• Oznat, la loca de los pretas es una hermosa miniatura. Tanto la pose como el arma que tiene me encanta.
• Sogarath=Metal. habría que pesarlo para comparar al sogarath otra miniatura. 

Appart from the videos, my analisis of the miniatures are:

• Morat Vanguard, they are actually pretty, but I do not like the new color scheme. I enjoy the old ones who were plenty of colours and I will paint them that way.
• Ratorak: Okay, when the miniature is glued, I will use it much either for proxy or linked to the Suryats...
• Oznat, the crazy girl with the Pretas is a beautiful miniature. Both pose as the weapon is lovely.
• Sogarath = Metal. I would have to weigh it to compare the sogarath to another model to explain the difference not only in size but in weight.

INFINITY NEWS 2014 (MEGAPOST) [pt 1 the operation storm]

Bueno, esta semana estamos viendo azorados como se vienen varios cambios en infinity. Primero que todo hay que nombrar que acaba de salir la bonita caja de inicio. Esta trae 7 miniaturas de cada lado (dos starters genéricos de Panoceanía y de Nómades+ una miniatura exclusiva de cada bando). Mi humilde opinión es que si te gustan las facciones o no jugás, entrale que son pasteles, pero si ya jugás y el metalico es un elemento limitante (junto con la aduana acá en argentilandia), déjalo pasar. Son como 100 dolares que si te sobran, usalos porque es una bonita caja, pero sinó comprate los packs de minis para seguir jugando. La caja de inicio se está presentando en BoW en una semana de novedades, primero veamos la caja y conversemos sobre ella y después vamos a lo que está jugosín: cambios de reglas.

Well, this week we are seeing the emergence of several bewildered changes in infinity. First of all, the starter for infinity had appeared. This starter has seven miniatures per side (two generic starters of PanOceania and Nomads plus an exclusive miniature of each side). My humble opinion is that if you like or you do not play the factions, you should have it, but if you play from long time and the metal is a limiting element (along with the custom here in argentilandia), let it go. They are like 100 bucks if you can spare, use them because it's a nice box, but you may buy with this money miniature packs to build your army. The start box is being presented in BoW in a week of news, first see the box and let's talk about it and then go to what is juicy: rule changes.

This year CB will heat the summer with the release of its first Battle Pack!

Operation: Icestorm will be available in September and it is a totally new product in the Infinity catalogue. A box containing 14 miniatures belonging to two different armies, an introductory ruleset, scenery, dice… everything you need to start collecting Infinity or just to complete your collection!

Apart of that, Operation: Icestorm is the way to be introduced in the Infinity 3rd Edition, the largely awaited revision of this game, as it includes a full color 64 page rulebook (English/Spanish) with 5 tutorial missions to learn to play, making easy to understand the Infinity core mechanics.

In this book you will also find the background and troop profiles of all the troops of the Battle Pack, being 3 of them totally new! There is also a brief guide to the Infinity universe and advices about how to deep more on it.

Veamos las imágenes de la caja y las minis:

Ahí se pueden ver la regla, los marcadores, los marcadores de humo (que cambia el scatter, ya no son de como antes con 8 direcciones, ahora tiene 10). los contenedores y los edificios. Nota importante: los edificios se tornan rígidos cuando le ponés adentro una caja de las que vienen siempre en infinity. Esta es una ideaza, porque hace valer mucho más a estas cajas. Y por supuesto las miniaturas y las reglas del starter.

The box has, as you migh see the markers, the smoke markers (which had changed from 8 scatter direction to 10 scater direction), the buildings, the containers... The buildings are designed in such a way that if you put one of the boxes from the usual package from CB it turns rigid. And of course it has the miniatures and the books.

Para mi el Mobie Brigada, es una típica miniatura de infinity, con una linda pose y un pintado sublime. Pero también la loca religiosa está muy buena. Claramente me gustan los Nómades.

For me the best miniature is the mobile Brigade, but it rivalizes with the crazy monk.

Bueno, Posteo esto y me pongo a escribir sobre los cambios de reglas que son los maaas interesantes.

Montando e imprimando Ejercito combinado (Starter Set)

Bueno, el viernes dejaron en casa un papel para que vaya a buscar una encomienda al correo. Podía ser el regalo de cumple de Diego que hace como un mes y medio debería haber llegado, o las minis de infinity. Desafortunadamente para Diego, fueron las minis de Infinity.

Me pedí el Starter Set de Ejercito combinado, y una caja de infantería de impacto Yaogat. Las recibí muy contento, pero ese sábado pinté miniaturas de lagartos que todavía tengo que terminar, pero ayer desayuné con la gotita (pegamento casi instantáneo) y una lima. Armé todos los del Starter Set, incluso el Caróntida que es demasiado inestable (se me caé palante). Tomé el aerosol de imprimación que había comprado la semana pasada y les dí de lo lindo. Falta una capa más, pero por ahora las minis quedaron algo así:
