I dont like the new drones

When I started infinity (four or five years ago), I loved the remotes of the Combined army, they had tentacles, wings, the seems to crawl from place to place. They were very alienish style, they were different from the other remotes. Years had past, now we are under 3erd edition and we are seen the new remotes, and call me grumpy old man, I dont like them. They are remotes, but they lack the differentiation from any other remotes. They are much of the same, and even exquisitely painted by Angel Giraldez they dont much the power of the old ones.

Cuando empecé a jugar infinity (hace cuatro o cinco años), me encantaron los remotos del ejército combinado. Tenían tentáculos, ohh por dios ä iä Cthulhu fhtagn, tenían alas, parecían arrastrarse de lugar en lugar. Tenían un claro estilo alienígena y eran diferentes de todos los demás remotines remotanes. Pasó el tiempo, envejecimos, llegó la tercera edición y con ella aparecieron los nuevos remoto. Seré un viejo choto, pero la verdad que no me gustaron, los remotos así como estaban para mi estaban geniales. Ahora me parece que le falta diferenciarse del resto de los remotos. Son, para mi gusto y paladar, más de lo mismo pintados zarpadamente por el loco Giraldez, pero les falta el toque que tienen los viejos.

Interesting Miniature Kickstarter

Yesterday I was looking in the Twitter because I wanted to see pictures of the Gencon and I found a tweet about a Kickstarter who got my attention: resin miniatures of high quality. I looked the page and found nice miniatures of three kind: Goblins, Orcs and Trolls, but then I also found dogs, dracos and Bears. The miniatures looks great. The KS will be until tomorrow so if you want to fund the project you have to be quick...

Ayer estaba buscando twitter porque quería ver fotos de la Gencon y me encontré con un tweet sobre un Kickstarter que me llamó la atención: miniaturas de resina de alta calidad. Miré la página y encontré simpáticas miniaturas de tres tipo: Goblins, Orcos y Trolls. Eso a primera vista, después aparecieron también perritos, Dracos, y lindos Ositos. Las miniaturas se ve muy bien, siempre estaría mejor verlas pintadas pero a priori son muy bonitas. El KS será hasta mañana así que si quieren financiar el proyecto van a tener que hacerllo rápidamente...

Novedades de infinity (Infinity News)

Bueno, estuve un poco colgado con el blog. Básicamente porque cada vez tengo más horas de biología y menos horas de tiempo libre. Pero quiero intentar aprovechar las que tengo para mantener el blog bien vivo.

Próximamente viene un post sobre pintura, me compré un mejor compresor para uso en casa y estoy haciendo pruebas interesantes.

De estas 5 novedades, hay una que es un reempaquetado (el de el medtech y los dos gusanitos esos), del resto ya habíamos visto al arquero y otras cositas más por ahí, pero a mi me sigue gustando el loco del arco. Aunque también me gusta mucho la mini que pintó DAF. En paleta, me parece que el IGAO y el invencible son dos minis con una bonita paleta, uno porque hay que pintar amarillo anaranjado y el otro porque me gusta el look alienígena.

Lo único que no me termina de cerrar es que DAF pinta muy parecido a Giraldez por ahora.

Infinity News!

Bueno, salieron las novedades de infinity el martes, la verdad que hacia un tiempo que no comentaba novedades de los muchachos de Galicia, pero me pintó (y se da la casualidad que estoy en el trabajo con tiempo muerto).

Salieron cinco novedades, algunas ya las habíamos visto, como ser el nuevo Tank Hunter de Ariadna o las motos con los pesones marcados para los Haqquis (que se ve que a los haqquis les pintó las choperas). Se había visto ya también el Agema (que caí en la cuenta que tiene un Fehuerbach). Con lo que las novedades novedades de este mes fueron dos: la caja de moderadores de corregidor con armas pesadas y el chobi del mes: un tohha regordete con casco increible y con pose marcial.

Well, last Tuesday the CB guys uncover the news for this month. It had been a while since I have written about the releases of infinity, but I wanted to.

Novedades infinity (de Julio) // Infinity News from JULY

Salieron ayer las novedades de infinity. Las miré por arriba, pero vi que tenían dos cositas interesantes: las nuevas antípodas y un morat. La lista completa de las novedades son:

• Caja nueva de antipodas (Ariadna)
• Ratorak con escopeta vulkan (Ejercito Combinado)
• Tamyris (Aleph)
• Caja de Ghulans con armas interesantes (Haqquislam)
• Guerrero de Terracota con HMG (Yu Jing)

De estas miniaturas las antípodas están muy buenas pero son Hombres Lobo, no la idea de antípodas como eran antes. Me gustan los viejos y horribles modelos de las antípodas. Tamyris es demasiado aleph. Los guerreros de terracota están buenos. Me gustan las Ips de los orientales. Los Ghulans están bien. Pero me gusta Ratorak.

Salieron las novedades de este mes:

• Caballeros de Santiago en caja

• El spetznatz
• Un Raiden Seibutai con Heavy Rocket Launcher
• Los interventores de Tunguska con los PANDAS...

Antes de comentar cuál me gusto más, voy a coincidir con el amigo Manimal con que estas miniaturas no tienen nada realmente novedoso, mantienen una linea ya armada de antemano. De estas miniaturas, igualmente hay unas que para mi se destacan. Pero vayamos a ver las imágenes primero.

Bueno, esta es la miniatura de la gama bootleg, o sea, no son para jugar sinó para tenerla en una vitrina. Si era para jugar, me hubiera llamado mucho la atención. Una lástima. La mini no tiene las poses locas que tienen las otras miniaturas de la gama bootleg, supongo que debe tener un modelado del carajo o que decidieron que era un buen momento para lanzar una miniatura de este estilo. No sé, no me cerró del todo.

Estas miniaturas, a mi me encantan. Son bien de los nómades pero los pandas le dan un toque muy muy divertido. La verdad que son los que más me gustaron de esta tanda de miniaturas. Me parece que van muy bien con los Nomades, deberían ser las primeras minis de la nueva facción de los Nómades: Tunguska, que estamos esperando hace rato para ver cómo va a ser. La verdad me encantaron.

Estas miniaturas fueron repintadas, ahora con los colores más azulosos que tienen los panocos de hoy en día. Fijensé que ahora le pusieron vainas a las espadas, la verdad es que tienen unos detalles bonitos. Además si vemos las imágenes con la escenografía de Customeplee, la verdad es que resaltan bastante...

Y la verdad que el raiden mucho no me gustó, el spetsnats sí. Así que para mi la miniatura de este mes son los interventores con los Fast Pandas (que hay que ver qué terminan haciendo).

In thruth the Raiden doesnt like me much and yes I liked the Spetsnatzs. In the end, the miniature of this month for me are the interventors with the Fast Pandas.
