Playing sealed with friends, Jugando limitado con amigos (Theros)

We used to buy a box of bosters to play sealed with friends. In this case we have bought a box of theros bosters and we have gathered with Diego, Astraud, Argalion, Joko, Ale and me (Bernohn). The idea is simple, we buy a boster box and we divide the 36 boosters among the six of us and play all against all.

Solemos comprar una caja de boosters para jugar limitado entre amigos. En este caso compramos una caja de Theros y nos juntamos con Diego, Astraud, Argalion, Joko, Ale y yo (Bernohn). La idea es simple, compramos una caja con 36 boosters y dividimos 6 para cada uno para jugar todos contra todos (en rodas obviamente).

In this time I havent had any planeswalker, and the green (my favorite colour) was really really bad, so I had to use black and blue (aghhhh)...

Esta vez no tuve suerte, no levanté ningún planeswalker y el pool de verde (por lejos mi color favorito) era malísimo, lo mismo en rojo y blanco. Cuestión que me terminé haciendo un mazo azul (puaj) y negro...

The deck relied in the little control and the bombs: the sphinx and the big guy with hexproof. I played first against a GR of Ale, wich was hard, but ended 2-1, then against Diego and his GR, again I win 2-1. I was going good, but, I played against Santiago and his UB and although I won the first match, he won the other two, so I was going bad again. Then I played against Joko who finished me pretty quick (2-0). And at last I play against Guille and it was 1-1 and we had to go to our homes, so we decided by a dice (I won it). So I finished third with 3-2.

Bueno, el mazo era básicamente algo de control en azul o negro y las dos bombas que tenía: La esfinge loca o el loco con Hexproof.Cuestión que no me fue ni muy mal ni muy bien. Le gané a Diego y a Ale, perdí con Joko rápidamente, con Santa la pasé bien inicialmente pero lo dio vuelta y con Astraud terminamos tirando un dado porque teníamos que irnos y nuestras mujeres nos iban a capar si no llegabamos a tiempo...

Playing Magic with friends (Post Pre Release con Astraud y Argalion entre otros)

Yesterday we played the PosPreRelease, an event wich is in reality a sealed deck tournament (for us) that we do buying one (but in this time two) magic boxes.

We played this sealed with two boxes (as I sayd) so we changed a little the format, and now the idea was to build 60 card decks.

Among this 168 cards I got this ones

And so on and so on, but I was happy with the four fogs and four rootwallas, so I did a mono green deck, wich first won against a blue-green, but the other two rounds I  loose really bad. So I change to green red, winning one round more and loosing the last.

As a result I have two planeswalker, two serra angels, one congregate and some other nice cards, so I am really happy, besides we had a nice time talking about philosophy of the game (kidding).

Cuestión que nos juntamos a jugar el postprerelease de M14, con Astraud, Argalion, Ale, Mertieff y Kajuata. Entre todos habíamos comprado unas dos cajas de M14 y estabamos esperando desde hacía unos meses para jugar este evento sealed. Fue una fiesta en 12 sobres para cada uno, con lo que pudimos hacer un evento sealed pero que fuera como mínimo a 60 cartas. A mi me tocó entre otras cosas:

Y con eso como estaba cebado con el verde me armé un monoverde, que le fue bien el primer partido pero que después flaqueó. Así que terminé jugando con un verde rojo. No comento más porque va a haber un post de Argalion sobre este tema, cuando salga, pongo el link acá.

En fin, me fuí contento con el pool que me tocó porque muchas cartas eventualmente van a terminar en algún mazo.
