After Vacations... Después de las vacaciones...

Hi I have been away, collecting stones to base miniatures in the far south.

Bueno, resulta que estuve de vacaciones, me fuí al sur y entre las cosas que tenía en mente era buscar piedritas para las bases de las miniaturas, me traje banda de piedritas, las cuales ya empecé a darle paquetitos a los amigos. Por esa razón, (por estar lejos, no por las piedras) estuve lejos del blog.

After I come back I restarted some miniatures and here I have a dwarf, an old slayer from Citadel...

Pero todo el que se va sin que lo echen vuelve sin que lo llamen, y volví. Y me puse a pintar (y me puse a leer también el reglamento de frostgrave y otro más que ya hablaré próximamente). Ahora como quería hacer un post rápido le saqué fotos a un enano que terminé. Es un viejo enano de citadel, un slayer.

Fantastic mr fox (WIP)

This is a WIP, a wolf that I decided to paint it as a fox. Lets se how it develops...

Bueno, nada el lobo este está muy verde. Buscando coloraciones de lobos por error me mostró google un zorro y me gustó tanto tanto que se me ocurrió probar de pintarlo así...

Cadmus Terminadito

Bueno, corto, terminé el cadmus...
Short story: I finished the Cadmus.

Para la base usé piedritas y flock de otoño de GF9.
For the base I used autumn flock and little stones from GF9.

I dont like bald wizards // si so mago y so pelado te pongo greenstufff y listo el pollo

Tenía este mago (Sacerdote lobo de Uric) para pintarlo, pero el problema fue que no me gustan los magos pelados, me dan mala espina, me parece que el sol les quema la bocha, que los mosquitos le pican  continuamente el bocho, no me gusta.

I had this wizard (Wolf priest of Ulric) to be painted, but the problem is that I dont like bald wizards, they give me a bad feeling about it, I think that the sun is burning the bald head, that mosquitos bite them endesly in the ball they have for head, I dont like them.

Y entonces llamé al Swanek del las miniaturas (yo) y me dije, macho, a esta mini le falta pelo y le sobra pelada. Tomé masilla de modelar y tarán tarán...

So I made myself the hairs using greenstuff...

Giant Trees Finished! // Árboles Gigantes Terminados

Terminé los arbolitos (5) que estaba haciendo (parte 1, parte 2), son GIGANTES, ahora quiero ponerlos en alguna mesa. Para terminarlos usé arena mística de claromecó en las bases, le di una capa de marrón primero a la madera, y después una mezcla a ojo  (50, 50) de negro y marrón, con plasticola para pintar la base y terminar de pegar la arena y piedritas de la base. En el tronco hice pincel seco de o bien amarillo (quedó muy flash), o bien 50 50 de amarillo y un marrón claro, o un gris lluvia (muy apagado). En la base hice pincel seco de gris lluvia en general. A todo después le puse motas de Amarillo, Verde, gris lluvia y un verde manzana, todo para simular hongos/líquenes en la madera, no fui muy específico y lo hice de una cara (como debería ser), sino en todo el tronco. Para finalizar agarré unos musgos que tenía secos guardados y los pegué para simular el follaje. Y los restos de musgo rotos los pegué en el suelo onda hojas caídas. A todo eso, follaje y piso con muzgo le di una mano de 50% plasticola diluida en agua usando un pulverizador super piola para que no se pierda tanto con el manoseo.

Base con piedritas y arenita, sin pintar, tronco pintado.

I ended the five trees I have been making (part 1, part 2), they are giant,  now I want to put them on some table.  I used mitic sand from Claromecó to add some texture on the base. To paint them (the trees) I gave them a first layer of brown on the wood, and then a mixture (50,50) of black and brown with PVA glue to paint the base, and to finish the pasting of the sand and pebbles of it. In the trunk I drybrushed either yellow (it was very fantasic) or 50 50 yellow and light brown, or gray rain (this colour was very soft and I dont like it). Working on the the base (after painting it with 50% 50% brown black), I drybrushed with gray rain. In the trunk and branches I put little (or not so little) spots of yellow, green, gray rain and a green apple, to simulate all fungi / lichens on the wood. I was not very specific and did not painted on only a face (as it should), but throughout the trunk. Finally I grabbed some dry moss that had saved and pasted to simulate the foliage. And the broken remains of the moss was pasted on the ground to simulate fallen leaves. To all this, foliage and floor Muzgo I gave a hand plasticola 50% diluted in water so you do not miss both the handling using a hand spary.

New cards for old decks...

Well I have bought some cards, the most important for my WG destroy land deck, they were suggested by Bairrin, a guy who has a nice blog about wargames, role games and magic. They were Mainly the knight of the reliquary and the terravore. I also bought a pair of Tangharth for my minotaur deck, some artifacts I wanted to have, and some green cards for decks I will create in the future... It has been a while since I dont create a new deck, I have some cards in mind, lets se.

I have bought the cards from MTGFanatics, they have changed the owners or the people in charge, but the cards had arrived in time and propperly.

Bueno, me compré unas cartas para mazos viejos y para futuros por armar. Seguí las sugerencias de bairrín (el loco que escribe el blog An Havva que es una pasada) y me compré cuatro terravoros y cuatro caballeros del relicario (pa el mazo verde blanco destruye tierras, o como le dijo bairrín el mazo bicho armagedon). Además me compré dos Tangharth para el mazo de minotauros que tengo, un par de artefactos que me gustaban para tener, y cartas para un futuro mazo verde.

Regarding the artifacts I love a lot of artifacts from the old times (tempest, Urza's Saga, that times), and every time I make a buylist, I add some of these artifacts....

Respecto de los artefactos, me gustan mucho los viejos artefactos, y cada vez que puedo compro alguno de esa época (Tempest, Saga de Urza, de ESA epoca).
