Bienvenidos

Consejos para hacer escenografía barata (tips to make cheap scenery)

You dont need to spend a lot of money to put nice scenery in your battlefield. Quite the contrary, if we recicle we can avoid the generation of more garbage and we can save money.

Juntar
  • Lamparitas/leds quemados
 You need to gather this:
  • Boxes of all types and sizes
  •  Cardboard tubes
  •  Corrugated and various types of cardboard
  • Expanded polystyrene which (at least here) are the packaging of refrigerators and other appliances
  • caps of different things (aerosols, those of the sachets of mayonnaise, etc)
  • buttons
  • sand (steal it from constructions)
  • wrapping things (anything serves, for example, syringes wrappers are nice antennas)
  • used matched
  • cans
  •  Crappy ads (to give more realism to what you do)
  •  broken Mp3 , pendrives, speakers, etc: disassemble its parts and they may go to scenery or to the bases of the miniatures
  • differt tubes
  • pizza wires
  • burned bulbs / leds

Basicaly we have to have a keen eye to see what we are going to trow away and think, how this woud fit in an scenery.
Basura que junto
Consejos supremos:
Supreme tips
  • Unless you live alone, keep everything as organized as possible, otherwise your wife, man, mother, father, grandmother, etc will stop loving you and they will throw you and your garbage to the nearest trash can.
  • Show them the before and after, because they probably understand that instead of garbage, you have created something nicer.
  • Go down the street (when we walk) looking at what's around. The second table we had in the wargames group was made with a board of 3 by 0.8 meters founded down the street and woods from a pallier.

  • Tarugos, clavos, tornillos, tornillitos
  • Cartón Foam o Cartón Pluma
  • Masilla epoxy
  • Enduido
  • Alambres de todo tipo

Things we have to buy (or use if we have)
  • Cutter
  • Vinyl glue
  • Aerosols
  • Some acrylic
  • Dowels, nails, screws, small screws
  • Epoxy putty
  • Fillings
  • All kinds of wires

Y con hacer estructuras masomenos intrincadas va a quedar bien, ejemplo:

And if you create intricate structures will look good, example:

I leave these images to make you understand that this is easy to make. Plus, an afternoon you can join four other wargame friends to drink beer and chat about things (eg infinity forum and the beautiful environment that is created when discussing things that do not have much importance...), while you do that you start to build scenery.
This scenery is not so good, but you can find in the manimal
blog the good stuff.

Recordar:

Remember:
  • Do not paint with aerosol or glue with solvent the expanded polietirene because it will melt like the bad Terminator in the 3.
  • Also remember that the idea is that these things interrupt the line of vision in the field, and give flavor to the battle, so the more labyrinthine the better.
  • If you give them all the same colors its going to have a homogeneity that looks good (that I have learned from Manimal).
  • Do not spray paint indoors.
