I have been doing two things this week: some walls with foamboards during the week, and the sunday while I torture myself watching Racing-Tigre (a futbol match that ended even), I took a plane that a friend of mine had gave me and other stuff from thing I have been disassembling and I made a terrain similar to a junkpile.

Primero los muros
First the walls

I basically based in a link that a friend (manimal) sent to the mail group in which it shows you how to do with foamboard a wall. And so I did, not exactly as in the tutorial, pretty much Bernohn style.
Firt I took the leftovers of foamboard from previous scenery projects and I took out one of the layers of hard board that they have. Then I took a pen and with a ruler I scratch the lines of the bricks.

With a grey base...
And here with some paint layers in it...

And at last the junk pile.

Bueno, saludos y nos estamos leyendo
Goodbye and we are reading us!

Hi B.! Try to use plasticard instead of cardboard for those terrains. I made some terrains using cardboards and after some time they all warped.
ResponderEliminarBut nice work! Keep it up!
You say for the base? or for the walls? I have plasticard here useless, I will make use of your advice!
ResponderEliminarThanks
B.
For the base! the walls are nicely done!
ResponderEliminarAhh, in that case yes, you are really right. I am using some kind of plastic (look at the junkpile) in the last sceneries. But as I was doing tests I didnt think pretty much about the base of the walls, but you are right I have to use plastic.
ResponderEliminarB.
And thanks for the comments!

All in all it's just another brick in the wall
ResponderEliminar@Astraud: We dont need no education!
